River East Stour
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The River East Stour is one of the sources of the River Stour in Kent. The East Stour, (16.5 km long [1]) rises at Postling near Hythe, and it joins with the River Upper Great Stour, either side of Pledge’s Mill at the bottom of East Hill, Ashford to become the River Great Stour, which then joins with the River Little Stour.
The South Willesborough Dykes are on the banks of the East Stour in Willesborough, Ashford and helps form part of the Ashford Green Corridor.
