[edit] Image

I saw that there is an image of the game in third person, but as I understand it, the game is mostly an RTS game. I think that it might be a good idea to add show the ingame RTS aspect also.--Clyde (talk) 21:39, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

Yes, I know. It doesn't look good that way, but most websites use watermarks on their screenshots; the only one I know doesn't is HeavenGames. I've already looked through these, but the one in the article was the only good one. I've created an account, to try to access the other album, but it doesn't seem to work; I asked how to do this on the forum [1]. Let's see in anyone answers my question now... · AndonicO Talk · Sign Here 10:44, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

Okay, I've found three we could use. Which do you think is best, this screenshot, this one, or this promotional image? Should we only choose one, or two? · AndonicO Talk · Sign Here 13:05, 13 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Passes GA

(No checklist, because it passes all criteria beautifully)

To nitpick a little bit, this sentence in the lead: "...eight hero units, of which only one may be purchased per game." I assume "purchase" means using in-game resources, but it isn't made clear here. Additionally, I'm not sure if the "shooter" part of "third-person shooter" is accurate. After that, I fixed up a couple minor problems with unneeded refs. Really, the only thing I'd recommend before gunning for FAC is fixing up the refs properly to include such details as the author, etc. Nifboy 14:53, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

Well, first of all, thank you. Heroes are bought in game, I thought the "per game" part already explained that. You're right about the "shooter" part, sometimes they're archers, but the default is melee. About the refs, do you mean the author of the reviews? · AO Talk 15:36, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
Okay, I fixed the hero part, but I couldn't find a more appropriate genre to substitute TPS here. And I'm still not quite sure what you mean about the refs. Thanks for helping! · AO Talk 15:42, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
Here's an example of a more fully-fledged citation. Nifboy 17:19, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
Okay, thanks for the tip; I'll fix those refs soon! · AO Talk 17:22, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
Alright, I filled out all the info I know about the refs in the Intro. However, I don't know the author or date for the first one (Gamespot summary), I don't know who did the GameSpy interview or when (should I write down Rick Goodman?), I don't know who I should say is the author—or when they wrote the page—at HeavenGames ([2] [3]) or Gamerankings ([4]). More specifically, help please! Do I have to add all the information you added, or just what I know (how I have it)? I'd appreciate a clarification; thanks! · AO Talk 19:20, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
Summaries and other non-article pages (heavengames) usually don't have attribution, so don't bother with author/date there. The interview is by Allen Rausch (see top of page 1), July 6, 2005. Nifboy 19:39, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
Okay, I fixed the interview; is the intro fine like that then? I'll keep doing that for the rest of the article. · AO Talk 19:52, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
Alright, I think I did them correctly. Is that fine? · AO Talk 20:43, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
Looks good to me. Nifboy 22:19, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
Okay, I'll probably add it to FPC next week. Thanks for your help! · AO Talk 22:26, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Some stuff

I tried to fix some of the punctuation, as well as other stuff. I don't know if all was done right, but you guys can check on it and rv in case it's better to not have it; however, some stuff was removed and should remain so, such as a double "for," etc. Also, about Memnon: isn't this the guy you should link to? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Memnon_of_Rhodes --Thus Spake Anittas 01:03, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

I wouldn't have caught that double "for". :) Anyways, I could only find about one or two mistakes, but most of your changes are good. I thought that Memnon of Rhodes could be the same general as in the game, but unfortunatly, no. He (the real life fellow) wasn't a general, and he wasn't Persian (just fighting for them). · AO Talk 01:19, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
Dashes and commas are both acceptable, although one must ensure consistency. — Deckiller 01:40, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
Okay, is that fine then? I also added a part about single player into the multiplayer section. Does that look good? · AO Talk 01:47, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Congrats on the FA!

Congrats to User:AndonicO and those who helped him to promote the article to FA! --Thus Spake Anittas 20:29, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

Haha! That includes you Anittas. Thank you, and you're welcome. I only just noticed it's an FA, so I was pretty surprised. :-) · AO Talk 01:17, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
