RIP may stand for:
- "Rest In Peace" (from latin: requiescat in pace) is a prayer that the departed may be at peace, not in torment, while awaiting Judgment Day. "RIP" or "Rest in Peace" typically appears on tombstones.

In the ware(s)(z) scene a RIP is being referred to as a game, which had been minimized in size, ripping both Music, Movies, or Voice-Acting. The intention is to provide people with a full game, without all the content. In existence there are dozen of "ripping-groups" these are groups that rip the games, but also crack the game, so that it could be played without a CD.
