[edit] Guest appearances / contributions to albums of other artists
- Shiina played keyboards on Heart Bazaar's indies-release, Baobob (1999).
- Shiina wrote and produced a number of songs for Rie Tomosaka (such as on Tomosaka's album Shojo Robot, etc.)
- Shiina contributed guest vocals on indie band Zazen Boys's second album, ZAZEN BOYS II (2004).
- "Kuki" is used on the Casshern soundtrack (2004).
- Shiina contributed guest vocals for Asai Kenichi's song Kiken Sugiru (2006).
- ^ Though the kanji 大人 is normally read Otona, Ringo gives the furigana reading as the katakana word Adaruto, or Adult, above the word, indicating the exclusion of the Otona reading. She often does this in her lyrics, perhaps to help her Japanese listeners understand a difficult or uncommon foreign-language word by giving them the Japanese kanji as well underneath it which they can more easily understand. The title of this album is only read and pronounced Adaruto, or simply Adult--there is no Otona reading anywhere.
