Ringier

Ringier AG is the largest media corporation in Switzerland based in Zofingen. It publishes several newspapers and magazines in both German and French. It has a yearly income of approximately 1.1 billion CHF with profits around 55.6 million and over 6,000 employees.
The political orientation of the group is towards Socialism. It can be easily noticed by reading the articles appearing through the various magazines and publications it owns. As well as the fact that among its consultants is Gerhard Schröder. The former German chancellor is a member of the Social Democratic Party of Germany. This party is a member of Socialist International.

Presently, Dr. Henkel is a member of numerous Supervisory Boards, such as IBM Deutschland, AUDI AG and Continental AG as well as co-founder of the German-Japan Initiative, for which he was highly awarded by the Japanese Government and other organizations. He is also Chairman of the Board of Deutsche Industriebank AG (IKB) and took on a Visiting Professorship at the University of Mannheim, Germany. Dr Henkel also is Senator of the "Max-Planck-Gesellschaft", as well as of the "Wissenschaftsgemeinschaft Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz", two leading institutions promoting scientific research in Germany .
