Ringgold School District is located in the northeastern corner of Washington County, Pennsylvania, south of Pittsburgh. The district encompasses the city of Monongahela, the boroughs of Donora and Finleyville, and the townships of Carroll, Union, and Nottingham.

It is comprised of six schools: Ringgold High School in Carroll Township, Finley Middle School in Finleyville, Carroll Middle School in Carroll Township, Monongahela Elementary Center in Monongahela, Donora Elementary Center in Donora, and Gastonville Elementary Center in Union Township.
