[edit] Poor singing

I thought Ishikawa Rika was known for having a poor singing voice when she first started with Morning Musume... —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Kenzilla (talk • contribs) .

In reply to the above; Yes, she did, and still does to an extent. She has a very distinctive soft voice, yet it lacks power, and her tonality is questionable at best, but like the girl herself, it still manages to exude charm... :) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 82.40.32.53 (talk • contribs) .

[edit] revert warring

I'm getting tired of seeing the same change added and removed from this article. The user at 221.187.209.16 is guilty of WP:3RR (and was just warned), but, it seems that it is not the IP that added the nickname originally. Please discuss the (in)validity of the nickname here, and stop the reversion madness. Neier 14:37, 22 February 2007 (UTC)

I started by adding the [citation needed] template to the original user's contributions, voicing my doubts regarding the issue, but nevertheless admiting the possibility there might be some validity to his/her claims if properly substanciated with official statements, interviews, etc.
Given the rather rude attitude the two posters who insist on including this information have had for the past couple of days and the fact nowhere on the web, even on the Japanese version of website, the details they mention can be found, I'm led to believe them to be nothing but vandals who should be banned at once. -- Ishikawa Minoru 14:48, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
There are some google hits for ブルちゃん 石川梨華, but not many. If there had been zero, I would have reverted it out of the article and posted the IP at the admin notice board. With some other matches, I think the warning and request for discussion here is the best way to handle it. Even though most of the results are coming from 2ch and blogs, so, I tend to believe that it is something made up and not condoned by her. If there is no response here, then, it should be deleted. Sorry, but I just reverted without seeing the talk page. If the same information is added, I'll just leave it alone for now. --Charles Nguyen 17:38, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
Actually, after thinking about it a bit more, the removal of unverified material from a living person's page is correct procedure. WP:LIVING (a WP policy) has this statement by Jimbo:
  • Unsourced or poorly sourced controversial (negative, positive, or just highly questionable) material about living persons should be removed immediately from Wikipedia articles, talk pages, and user pages.
So, if any questionable statement is added, it must be properly referenced. Also, it should be noted that the removal of material of that nature is not subject to WP:3RR, while the addition obviously is. Neier 21:04, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
The user is adding the same info from these different IP addresses so I'm guessing he/she should be warned with the {{MultipleIPs}} template, but I'm not too familiar with warnings yet:
I'm requesting to semi-protect this page until the user seems to have stopped vandalizing since you can't block all the IP addresses that come. --Charles Nguyen 09:20, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
