Saint Rigobert (died c. 745) succeeded St Rieul as bishop of Reims in 698.
He was replaced as bishop by Charles Martel for political reasons and banished to Gascony for some time. Upon his return to Reims, he did not reclaim his see but became a hermit instead. must of been a boring life for this saint
