RightNow Technologies NASDAQ: RNOW is a U.S. software company that develops customer relationship management (CRM) software for small and mid-market businesses. It is incorporated in Delaware and headquartered in Bozeman, Montana.

The company was founded in 1997 by Greg Gianforte in Bozeman, Montana. Additional offices have opened in California, New Jersey, Texas, Europe, and Asia.
RightNow makes and supports one product - RightNow CRM which has three main components: Sales, Service, and Marketing. The current version of RightNow CRM is 8.0.
RightNow is primarily known for their business model of offering their software as a hosted service in addition to offering it to customers in a traditional enterprise solution. Nearly 90% of RightNow's customers are using the hosted service. As of December 2006, the company has over 1,800[1] customers, including British Airways, Iomega, and Nikon.

Greg Gianforte started the company in 1997 with no investor money and created a software product that was initially focused on customer service. As the company grew, it added sales force automation and marketing automation to its product (creating a full CRM suite), but to this day remains focused on customer service.
