Rigaut de Berbezilh

Rigaut de Berbezilh, also known as Rigaut de Barbezieux and Richartz de Barbesiu (fl.1175 – 1215) was a troubadour, born to a family of poor knights in Saintonge.
He was a great influence on the Sicilian School and is quoted in the Roman de la Rose. About 15 of his poems survive.
