Ridley High School is the high school of Ridley School District. Ridley High School is located in Folsom, Pennsylvania, and has an average student population of 2,000. The school draws students from many socioeconomic backgrounds, due to Ridley Township's economically diverse population. The new high school was opened in September 2001, replacing the old school.

Ridley's Academic record is very good. The high school has a terrific academic program offering a large variety of elective classes and include math, English, science, social studies, health, and gym. A total of four classes are held in a day due to the school's block scheduling.

Ridley is also home to the Emerald Academy, a small group of elite students within the school. The Academy is a collection of level one classes, and has one extra class in the day, making for a total of five classes. These classes include mathematics, English, a science, social studies, a foreign language, health and gym, and an elective class. Some of these classes are determined by semester. The rigorous pace of the program is meant to prepare students for AP classes.

Ridley is well known for its athletics. They have a very succsessful football program, becoming the top high school football program of all time in the state of Pennsylvania, as well as one of the top in the United States. Its lacrosse program is also well known around the country for having many State titles throughout the past 15 years, including 3 straight titles in '01,'02,and '03. The wrestling coach, Carl Schnellenbach, coached his 600th win in December of 2005 and holds the record for most wrestling coaching victories in Pennsylvania.
