[edit] Regular cars

Main Article: List of cars in the Ridge Racer series

Kamata Fiaro

A drifty and light car best suited for beginners. Shares design cues and name similarities to the Pontiac Fiero.

Danver Toreador

A wild and uncontrollable car best noted for its abundance of torque. A drifty car geared for intermediate drivers. Possible real life counterpart is the SN-95 chassis of the Ford Mustang.

Rivelta Solare

A pure sports car, that is only suitable for advanced drivers. Possible real life counterpart is the Ferrari Testarossa

Kamata Fortune

Strong grip car, which compensates for its lack of torque. Almost looks like the Honda Civic due to body design and the car's FF drivetrain.

Rivelta Mercurio

A symbol of Ridge City racing, this car is a balance of speed and grip. Possibly based on the Ferrari 360 Modena, with hideaway headlamps.

Himmel E.O.

Best grip car, however its rear mounted engine is not for everyone. Design cues and drivetrain of RR hint at a possible homage to the Porsche 911.

[edit] Duel cars

Danver Spectra

A drift-type car with very poor cornering.

Rivelta Crinale (a.k.a. "13th Racing")

A fast drift-type car which slides very easily.

Soldat Rumeur

A grip-type car which never drifts because of its incredible road gripping ability. This is the slowest of the duel cars.

Kamata Angelus (a.k.a. "White Angel")

A very fast grip-type car which also doesn't drift. This is the fastest car in the game.

[edit] Ai Fukami

Ai Fukami replaced Reiko Nagase as the race queen of Ridge Racer. However, her popularity was less than Reiko's, and an online poll replaced Reiko back as Ridge Racer's official race queen.

[edit] Ridge Racer V: Arcade Battle

Ridge Racer V: Arcade Battle is the arcade port of Ridge Racer V. It was released in 2000 for the Namco System 246 arcade platform.
