Ridge Racer DS is a video game based on the Nintendo 64 version of Ridge Racer originally released by Namco in the year 2000. The game was remade to make use of features on the DS such as the touch-screen and wireless multi-player while providing the same fun experience as its original counter-part. This game was released on December 7, 2004 and rated Everyone by the ESRB (The Entertainment Rating Board).
It is a direct port from the N64 game, 'Ridge Racer 64' - and involves driving a racing in various tracks in three main themes. It was not especially well received, mostly due to its basic design and awkward control scheme.
