Marcus Logo

The Ridge Cinema is the only movie theatre in New Berlin, Wisconsin in the United States. It is the largest theatre in southeastern Wisconsin, with 20 auditoriums, with capacity ranging from 70 to 340. The Ridge is owned and operated by the Marcus Corporation and has a staff of over 80 associates.

The Ridge shares the art deco design of most Marcus Theatres. Upon entering, there are two box offices each equipped with two Radiant Systems point of sale computers, allowing for four cashiers to work. The lobby is dominated by the concessions stand, with 10 POS terminals, six popcorn bins, two ICEE machines, two Turbo Chef rapid cook ovens, and four candy drawers. Behind the concessions stand are four large Pepsi soda fountains, each with sixteen heads. In this alcove, there is also two additional ice machines, and a Dippin Dots vending machine. On the left and right sides of the vending stand, there are tables and on the right is a video arcade. Also behind the concessions stand on the left and right sides of the soda alcove, there are theatres 10 and 11, two of the smaller theatres. There are two large hallways that lead to theatres 1-9 and 12-20. There are eight bathrooms at the Ridge and the entire complex is built in a "I" shape. Between theatres 4 and 5, on the north side of the building, there is a smaller vending stand infrequently used. There used to be another one on the south side, but it was removed several years ago.

The Ridge sells popcorn, nachos, beverages, candy, pretzel bites, mozzarella sticks, pizza, donuts, and hot dogs. Bratwurst was sold during a promotion showing Green Bay Packers football games in a theatre using a LCD projector and ATSC signals from DirecTV.

All twenty auditoriums have Dolby Digital sound installed. Auditoriums 2, 12, and 20 have DTS sound. None are THX certified, however. Auditorium 9 has DTS open caption equipment installed.
