[edit] Category:United States Expatriate Wikipedians

Hi, Richard. I see you found the US ex-pat category I created. I don't know if this nationality tree will catch-on with other Wikipedians, but I've been thinking about how to make the category the most useful. I think it would be good to link this nationality hierarchy with the Category:Wikipedians by location hierarchy. Therefore I've recategorized my self as a Category:United States Expatriate Wikipedians in Japan, and made that new category a subcategory of both Category:United States Expatriate Wikipedians and Category:Wikipedians in Japan. I propose you do something similar with Category:Wikipedians in Scotland. -- Meyer 23:23, 18 July 2006 (UTC)

On second thought, the extra level of hierarchy may be taking things too far. I've put myself b ack in both the subject category and Category:Wikipedians in Japan. I'll mark the "US ex-pat in Japan" category for deletion. Sorry to have bothered you. -- Meyer 01:17, 19 July 2006 (UTC)

P.S. I recommend you change the category reference to [[Category:United States Expatriate Wikipedians|Richard Tapestry]] so that your name will appear under the correct letter on the category page. -- Meyer 01:36, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
