[edit] shhh
A convention widely used on the internet is that writing in capitals is SHOUTING. Wikipedia follows this convention. So will you please go to User:Rich richie/List of Hospitals in New York, take off the caps lock key and re-write the article with normal capitalisation. When you have finished, please copy it to List of hospitals in New York State or List of hospitals in New York City - but not to both titles - and note the little h on hospitals. Creating wikilinks in the article would also be welcomed. -- RHaworth 15:54, 3 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] List of drugs
- Richie, the pages you uploaded gave the impression of having been copied from somewhere else. It was my impression that you had stopped contributing to Wikipedia on 29 April, otherwise I would have discussed this with you in first instance.
- Just a couple of points. Simply uploading long lists of stuff does not really fit the purpose of an encyclopedia. The information you uploaded is actually already present in a more systemised way on Anatomical Therapeutic Chemical Classification System and its linked pages.
- I'm sorry for what you may have perceived as a poor welcome. With Wikipedia becoming more complicated in terms of organisation some people have a low tolerance for those who are not yet familiar with all the policies, guidelines etc. If you have any questions please let me know. - I'd appreciate if you wouldn't reformat my comments[1]. This may put my words out of context.
- Of course you are welcome to put information on Wikipedia, but please be aware that we have content guidelines which are meant to unsure that whatever gets added is useful and accesible to others, as well as being fit for publication in an encyclopedia.
- If you need any further help, please let me know. JFW | T@lk 11:31, 11 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:MySelf.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:MySelf.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 07:05, 9 May 2006 (UTC)
