The article begins like this: Ricky Fataar (born 5 September 1952 in Durban, South Africa) is a South African musician who is primarily a drummer. The first sentence of the next paragraph is: He was originally part of The Flames, a band from his birthplace of Durban, South Africa that began in 1963. He joined the band at the age of nine years old. But if he joined The Flames at the age of 9 in 1963, he would have had to been born in 1954. If he joined The Flames later than 1963, his year of birth must also be pushed back correspondingly. http://hem.passagen.se/honga/database/f/fataarricky.html lists him as joining The Flames in 1965, making him EITHER born in 1956 (if he was 9 when he joined The Flames) OR he was 13 when he joined The Flames in 1965 - and this is, to me, more likely.
