Chandler Burr claimed Pillard was "in his fifties" in his 1997 Atlantic article, but Pillard told Lynch his father died when Pillard was 25. Antioch College English Professor Basil Pillard died in 1957, making Pillard born in about 1932. Jokestress 03:13, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
