When was he knighted? Forgive my ignorance, but a CBE doesn't entitle you to use the term Sir, does it?The Invisible Man 01:43, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
He was awarded the CBE in 1992, and knighted on 5 March 1997. Nick Cooper 12:10, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
