Rick Titus (March, 1969 in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada) is a Canadian soccer defender who currently is playing for the Toronto Lynx in the USL First Division.
After playing college soccer for three years with the University of Toronto, Titus signed for the Toronto Lynx making his USL First Division debut with the club in 1997. During his time with the Lynx he helped the Lynx make the playoffs for the first time and became a fast and physical defender capable of marking the best strikers out of a match. After two seasons with the Lynx. Titus signed for the Hampton Roads Mariners in 1999. In 2000 Titus signed for the Vancouver Whitecaps and again he was solid in the defence. In 2001 Titus was named USL First Division Defender of the Year with Vancouver. After 6 seasons in the USL First Division Titus signed for the Colorado Rapids of Major League Soccer in 2002.
Just playing in the MLS for one season Titus returned to the USL First Division this time he signed with the Charleston Battery winning USL First Division Championship in 2003. In 2004 Titus signed with the Lynx again but was released after making one appearance with the team. After he signed with Edmonton Aviators in the middle of the season but again Titus was released after making six appearances with the team. For remainder of the season he signed with his old club Charleston Battery. During the 2005 season the Lynx hired new coach Hubert Busby Jr and Titus was one of the first players on Busbys list. Titus signed for the Lynx again playing his forth season with the Lynx.
In 2006 Titus was the key to the Lynx defence helping the team to a 10 home game undefeaded streak. As well he was awarded the Toronto Lynx MVP and he helped the Lynx reach the Open Canada Cup final which the Lynx lost 2-0 against Ottawa St. Anthony Italia.
Though born in Canada, Rick is of Trinidadian heritage. He played in four Gold Cup qualifier games for the Trinidad and Tobago national team in 2002.
