Rick Strom is a Los Angeles, California based electronic music producer. He was educated in Mathematics and Computer Science (at the University of California, Santa Barbara), and did his Masters studies in Film Production. Strom's projects vary between software development , songwriting and filmmaking. His most recent project (as of early 2005) is a short film called 6:4/e, an almost entirely musical film for which he wrote the score.

Rick Strom was, shortly, signed to the Water Music Records/Universal label in 2001, but his album "Flow" was subsequently released as a free MP3 release on his Glowdot site. Notable collaborations include Julee Cruise (David Lynch/Twin Peaks) and Nastassja Kinski (daughter of Klaus Kinski).

Strom founded several entertainment and community themed sites.
