Rick Renteria

Richard Avina Renteria (born December 25, 1961 in Harbor City, California) was an Infielder for the Pittsburgh Pirates (1986), Seattle Mariners (1987-88) and Florida Marlins (1993-94).

In 5 seasons he played in 184 Games and had 422 At Bats, 42 Runs, 100 Hits, 20 Doubles, 2 Triples, 4 Home Runs, 41 RBI, 2 Stolen Bases, 25 Walks, .237 Batting Average, .285 On-base percentage, .322 Slugging Percentage, 136 Total Bases, 4 Sacrifice Hits, 1 Sacrifice Fly and 1 Intentional Walk.

On November 29, 2006, the Portland Beavers, a minor league affiliate of the San Diego Padres, announced he would be their manager for the 2007 season.
