Rick Miah was born in 1972, in England. He was the original drummer for the Doom metal band, My Dying Bride. He left in 1997 after contracting Crohn's disease. Despite rumours to the contrary, he did not die shortly after a tour in the USA. He is thought to have made a full recovery, and has since pursued a career outside of music.
