Rick McCrank

Rick McCrank is a professional skateboarder who was born on January 23, 1976 in Vancouver , Canada. He was voted Best Street Skater by TransWorld Skateboarding Magazine in 2000. He runs Anti-Social Skateshop and co-owns Momentun Wheels. He is sponsored by Girl Skateboards, eS Footwear, Matix Clothing, Nixon, and Anti-Social Skateshop. McCrank has competed and done very well in various contests around the world throughout his career.
Rick grew up in a lower class poverty stricken area of Vancouver. With skateboarding as his only way out, Rick quickly became sponsored by local skate shops and turned pro in the early '90s for Plan B Skateboards, when he was spotted by pro skater Collin Mckay. In the mid '90s, Rick was sponsored by Birdhouse Skateboards, and landed at Girl Skateboards and éS in 1998. As a man, he spends much time with his daughter, and has stayed loyal to not driking any alcohol in his life. He's also a vegetarian, and finds yoga amazing.
Rick has had a close friendship with fellow pro Eric Koston for many years.
