Rick Maloney is the head baseball coach at the University of Michigan. In his three seasons at Michigan, he has compiled a 106-72 record. He has led the Wolverines to four consecutive NCAA tournament appearances. Prior to becoming the head coach at Michigan, he served as the head coach at Ball State. His overall career record is 362-216-1.

He was named the MAC Baseball Coach of the year in 1998 and 2001. From 1998-2001, the Cardinals finished first in the MAC West for 4 straight seasons.
