Rick Kingham

Rick Kingham was asked to serve as interim pastor and was affirmed as the new Senior Pastor of Overlake Christian Church on Sunday, November 15, 1998. His "installation" as Senior Pastor followed in early 1999. Kingham had been serving as Senior Pastor at a church in Colorado and as a Vice President for Promise Keepers.

Rick Kingham, senior pastor at Redmond's Overlake Christian Church, announced Sunday February 11, 2007, that he was resigning his position as spiritual head of one of the largest churches in Washington state. His resignation comes one month after the church elders requested that he take a sabbatical, something he had never done since pastoring at this particular church.
