Richard Veenstra

Richard Veenstra (born in Veendam, June 29, 1981) is a Dutch contemporary composer, mainly focused on electronic dance-music. He also composes for film, theatre and other media.

From 2000 to 2004 Veenstra attended the Northern Netherlands Conservatory and was a member of Dutch experimental techno act Antapnux.

Works include soundtracks for the short movies Steven, Aftellen and Dood Spoor and compositions for NPS (Nederlandse Programma Stichting) and theatre-group Olislaegers &co.. Veenstra is also a member of mash-remix act Sonic Me and has its own production company at the Mediapark in Hilversum.
