Richard Shelton

Richard Shelton is an English actor known for playing the role of Dr. Adam Forsythe on ITV's Emmerdale.


He also used to be a hotel marketing manager for TrustHouse Forte and has recorded several albums of MOR jazz classics. His first major acting role was as a young Ebenezer Scrooge in the stage musical Scrooge in the late 90's playing opposite Anthony Newley as the older Scrooge.

He also played Frank Sinatra in the a touring musical called Rat Pack Confidential.

His very first acting role was as the embodiment of Death in the 80's low budget classic Dance Of Death where he played a mysterious and evil black hatted dancer whose appearance and subsequent scary dance resulted in the rapid death of whomever it was witnessed by, a bit like in `The Ring`.

Richard Shelton is currently working on the development of a number of film and TV projects set in the 50's and 60's and within the armed forces spy genre. It is believed the projects are going to be rather good.
