Richard Ronald John Copeland Esq. (1884–1958), since 1913 was the president and chairman of the Spode-Copeland firm of bone china manufacturers in Staffordshire.

Second son of Richard Pirie Copeland and grand son of Alderman W T Copeland. In 1915 Ronald married Ida Copeland Fenzi grand daughter of Sir Douglas Strutt Galton.

- Freeman of the City of London;
- Prime Warden of Goldsmiths' Company.

- Donor of the Kibblestone Hall Estate in 1954 to the the North Staffordshire Boy Scouts' Association.
