Richard Marshall (born December 12, 1984 in Los Angeles, California) is a professional American football player who currently plays for the Carolina Panthers of the NFL. A 5'11", 189 lb defensive back from Fresno State, Marshall was selected by the Panthers in the 2nd round (58th overall) of the 2006 NFL Draft.

Marshall attended Alain Leroy Locke Senior High School (Los Angeles, California) and won All-League and All-CIF honors. During the summer of 2006 he married Fresno State basketball player Jasmine Plummer.
