Richard Marcus (actor)

Richard Marcus is actor.

Marcus did not begin his career as an actor. His first brush with the big screen came as associate producer for Parasite, starring Demi Moore.

Prior to this performance, Marcus had appeared in many other television productions including Space Rangers, Highway to Heaven, Hollywood Beat and And the Band Played On.

In addition, Richard had a recurring role on the acclaimed NBC drama St. Elsewhere, for which he received an Emmy nomination.

His first film role followed in 1983 in The Being, followed by Enemy Mine and parts in films such as Deadly Friend and Cannibal Campout.

Prior to joining The Pretender cast as Dr. William Raines, Marcus was best known for his role of Nestor in Tremors. Also look for him in the video game Dune 2000, as Ordos Mentat.

Richard currently appears on 24 in 2005.
