Richard Grenier

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Richard Grenier (1933-January 29, 2002) was a neoconservative cultural columnist for The Washington Times, and a film critic for The New York Times. He was a graduate and lieutenant of the United States Naval Academy. He is particularly known for his review on the critically-acclaimed film, "Gandhi", involving scathing attacks on Gandhi, India and extremely anti-Hindu attacks in particular (whom Grenier considered lower than animals). The review was largely debunked in a successive issue of The Washington Times (the same periodical in which Grenier published his review) by Jason DeParle [1]
