Richard Goddard (born January 30, 1978 in Scarborough, Tobago) is a Trinidad and Tobago football goalkeeper.

Goddard has played most of his career in North American leagues. In 2001 Goddard signed for the Ottawa Wizards of the CPSL, he led the Wizards to League and Cup Championship. In 2002 Goddard was signed by the Charlotte Eagles of the USL First Division in his rookie season Goddard led the Eagles to the playoffs and played 27 games and and recored three shutouts.

In 2004 Goddard signed for the Toronto Lynx, with the Lynx Goddard struggled to hold a starting position and was released. A year after Goddard re-signed with the Lynx gaining more playing and having some impressive games. But on April 2006 Goddard was again released by the Lynx. But their have been some rumours that the Rochester Raging Rhinos are interested in Goddard.

In 2006 Goddard re-signed with the Lynx again.
