Richard DuHaime

Dick DuHaime, a New Jersey politician, sought the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate in 1996. A conservative, he finished second in the G.O.P. primary, losing to Rep. Dick Zimmer and finishing ahead of Dick LaRossa, a State Senator from Mercer County. He served as a Passaic County Freeholder from 1985 to 1986. His wife, Ann DuHaime, served as the Mayor of Bloomingdale, New Jersey. His son, Michael DuHaime, is a Republican political operative.
