Richard Dortch

Richard W. Dortch was a former president of the PTL Christian evangelical television network, affiliated with the Assemblies of God. In 1988, he was indicted on federal charges of fraud and conspiracy to divert millions in charitable donations for personal benefit, along with other executives of PTL. In a plea bargain, Dortch pled guilty to reduced charges.
Richard W. Dortch was the Illinois District Superintendent of the Assemblies of God from 1970 - 1983.

Richard Dortch turned around and became very open about his crimes and is now helping others not fall into the same evil he committed. He has now authored Four books dealing with both personal integrity and restoring yourself after having done something wrong.
His Ministry credentials were restored by the Assembly of God in 1991. 1.
Richard Dortch is now on TV with a three hour prayer service weeknights on the Christian Television Network. PastorDIC 04:58, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
