Richard C. Davis
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Richard C. Davis is President, CEO, and Founder of Trademark Properties in Charleston, South Carolina. He and his company specialize in "flipping" houses. Davis attended Clemson University, where he was a member of Sigma Nu fraternity.
Davis was made nationally famous when he created the television show Flip This House. He and his employees appeared on the show's first season on A&E. The program focuses on the process of buying, remodeling, and selling houses for profit.
Davis and his company are currently suing A&E due to a contract dispute arising out of the latter's refusal to compensate Davis for his program. As a result, Trademark Properties is not appearing in the second season of the show. A new program, featuring Davis and his company, is expected to appear on TLC in early 2007.[citation needed]
A website, Flip This Lawsuit, was created by fan Mark Lyon to track the progress of the lawsuit.
Davis and his crew have signed a deal with TLC network for a new show titled The Real Deal. Series premier was March 21, 2007 (directly opposite A&E's 3rd season premier of 'Flip This House - New Haven')
The first episode of “The Real Deal” was 'A Home Run For Trademark' a special centering around the relocation of the Shoeless Joe house, while at the same time helping to renovate the life of a current baseball player.
