Rich Greenfield is a Polish-born stand-up comedian recognized for his "One-man" comedy routines, which feature completely invented dialogue derived from total obscurity, and on occasion audience suggestion.

[edit] Early years

At age 17 his brother had seen an ad requesting "Stand-Up Comedians Wanted," and gave it to Greenfield. Immediately Rich contacted the originator of the ad and requested information about the performance. A week later he was saying his first improvised lines in front of half a dozen bar patrons at Mc Cormicks Place in Grafton, WI.

Greenfield has appeared in numerous Milwaukee theatre productions including Song at The Scaffold (1996), and The Foreignor (1999). His most recent performance was in Milwaukee's One act Play festival. Greenfield is co-founder and current member of the sketch comedy troupe Scrambled Ed's Happy Farm.

[edit] Online Video Campaign

On December 23rd 2006 Rich Greenfield began an internet promotion campaign employing YouTube.com as a staging area for his personally created videos. On December 29th 2006 at 5:55pm Greenfield's campaign received an initial milestone when his site was featured as #60 most watched video (today.)
