Rice School of Architecture

The Rice School of Architecture is a nationally-renowned undergraduate and graduate institution for the built environment at Rice University in Houston, Texas. Rice's graduate and undergraduate programs in architecture, which typically maintains an enrollment of around 200 students, consistently rank among the most prestigious in the country. Founded in 1912, the faculty consists of twenty architects, historians, and theoreticians, supplemented by visiting scholars and is lead by Dean and Professor Lars Lerup.
The school offers five types of degrees: a Bachelor of Arts (with a major in Architecture or Architectural studies), a Bachelor of Architecture (an accredited professional degree), Master of Architecture, Master of Urban Design, and Doctor of Architecture.
