Re. WikiBreakThanks for wishing me a good break. I have internet here at my place in the highlands, but I have to share the computer with a little brat so I can't devote all my time to Wikipedia. :-P Best regards.--Húsönd 18:24, 1 December 2006 (UTC) Talk pagemmm... fixed it (I hope). The problem was that on some smaller monitors the archive box was hidden beneath the main box. I changed alignment to top & front (to make if float over the main box just in case) and made the vertical alignment less obvious (60px to 25px). Hope it's better... I can change it more drastically if you'd like. Also, your blurb in the header is bigger, meaning a bigger gap between the archive box and main box. — Editor at Large(speak) 20:14, 1 December 2006 (UTC) FredilDid you read what happened to Fredil it looks bad. Moreschi 19:38, 7 December 2006 (UTC) User:ElaragirlHi Riana, Thanks for your comments on WP:ANI. I did want to comment on something you said on the noticeboard:
In fact, Elaragirl had already been asked repeatedly (by several users) to be civil and refrain from making personal attacks. That did not stop her from making the edits which lead to the block. In other words, the warnings she received did not disuade her from creating that attack page. In all fairness, how many warnings do you think a user should receive before a block is instated? Unless it is less than six or seven... Anyway, best wishes, Firsfron of Ronchester 19:48, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

It felt as if everybody was "walking on eggshells" around me, if you know what I mean. I hope that it was simply a case of being uneasy around someone who has been sick for a while, and not a case of knowing about my suicide attempt (which I've kept secret offline, where I would have to deal face to face with people on a daily basis). Welcome to the AMA!Hello Riana dzasta, I see that you have decided to join the AMA. I'll be the first to say welcome! We're always in need of more advocates, especially since were backlogged most of the time. Just a few pointers for what we do. We communicate by putting a template on our talk page. The template is {{AMA alerts}}. The AMA also has it's own IRC channel, which reports new cases and alerts to us. It can also be used as a place to ask for advice on an issue. If you'd like to jump right into a case, you are free to check out AMA Requests for Assistance, which is our new request for advocacy system. The instructions for how the technical part works is on it's talk page. You can also use the AMA userboxes that appear under here. If you have anymore questions about the organization, just ping any advocates talk page, including our coordinator Steve Caruso, or deputy coordinator Wikiwoohoo. Again, welcome to the AMA! -Royalguard11(Talk·Desk·Review Me!) 20:09, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

User:WokidHi Riana, my understanding of Wikipedia:User page is that the userpage is not the property of the user and is open to editing, as is (almost) all of Wikipedia. Therefore, I feel no compunction against removing a horrific photograph of an actual lynching that is used in a misguided attempt at humor. 141.154.220.74 04:12, 10 December 2006 (UTC) Good morning! How are you today? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Sceptre (talk • contribs) 04:22, 10 December 2006 (UTC).

Hey Riana, I saw your comment to Nathan. He also filed an RfArb against ScottDavis and threatened to add Chacor to Ral's case because Chacor told him to stop being disruptive. I hope you can get through to him, but I have warned him that I'm going to block him for disruption if he continues hassling Ral and misusing arbitration and mediation. The given text was a complete copyvio, and it's very doubtful we'll get a GFDL release for such a thing. Furthermore, until some kind of sourcing outside the school can be found, a stub is best. In closing the nomination, Essjay remarked that it was one of the better discussed RfAs seen recently and I would like to thank you and all others who chose to vote for making it as such. It was extremely humbling to see the large number of support votes, and the number of oppose votes and comments will help me to become stronger. I hope to run again for adminship soon. Thank you all once more. Wikiwoohoo 19:49, 11 December 2006 (UTC)AMA RequestI wish to retain you as my AMA advocate should I encounter any ... difficulties in the near future. The recent RfC against me could have very easily been reshaped into an RfAr with disastrous consequences. I would also appreciate any advice you have on how to ... ensure, shall we say ... that future unhappy events will not occur. Specificity will be furhter gone into via email, which I'll send you when I get home. It's quite unsettling. --ElaragirlTalk|Count 22:23, 11 December 2006 (UTC) |
