[edit] Character introduction

At the start of the trilogy, Rialle is an intelligent student who is always top of her class; she receives a lot of jealousy from other classmates such as Kherron who always tries to better her during the first novel.

Carrying on into Crystal Mask, Rialle plays a passive and quiet path within The Echorium; residing in the caves surrounding the academy and not pledging a full life as a Singer; she prefers the company of the merlee as she considers them her friends.
