"Bugs
Rhythmbox has been reported to corrupt certain music files in users' libraries. This appears to happen especially when standby is initiated during playback or when files in the library are edited with a third-party program while they are being viewed in the music browser."
Is there a source for this, I haven't heard this?

It says it supports Avahi but doesn't say for what on the home page. Someone find out.
