Rhytida meesoni meesoni is a terrestrial gastropod in the family Rhytididae, endemic to the South Island of New Zealand.
The shell is larger than the living adult size for Rhytida australis, with deeper whorls, and less prominent malleanations, crossed by weak irregular axial folds and growth-lines. Coloration is greenish-olive, the umbilicus without a brown zone.
Major diameter is up to 18 mm, and height up to 10 mm.
