Rhythm pop is a fusion genre combining pop music with contemporary rhythm and blues.

Most White rhythm pop musicians are not blue-eyed soul artists, in that they use the rhythm element more than blues and soul influences. However, a few of them may also be defined as using blues and soul, but this is less common. American Idol singers are often marketed as rhythm pop.
