Written by Benito Benitez, John 'Virgo' Garrett III, Thea Austin and Durron Butler and produced by Snap!, Rhythm is a Dancer was the second single by the pop-dance act to reach number one on the UK singles chart, spending six weeks at the top in August 1992. A massive hit across Europe it also reached #1 in Germany and peaked at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the USA.
