Route 126 is a numbered State Highway running 14.3 miles in Rhode Island.

Route 126 takes the following route through the State:
- Providence: 0.7 miles; U.S. Route 1 to Pawtucket city line
- [Smithfield Avenue] (Frost Street, Nashua Street) and Smithfield Avenue
- Pawtucket: 1.4 miles; Providence city line to Lincoln town line
- Smithfield Avenue
- Lincoln: 8.6 miles; Pawtucket city line to North Smithfield town line
- Smithfield Avenue, Front Street, River Road and Old River Road
- North Smithfield: 0.1 miles; Lincoln town line to Woonsocket city line
- Manville Road
- Woonsocket: 3.5 miles; North Smithfield town line to Massachusetts State line at Route 126
- Manville Road, Hamlet Avenue, Cumberland Street, [Clinton Street] (Cumberland Street, Social Street) and Social Street

Prior to the early 1960s, Route 126 was in the Tiverton and Little Compton area. It started at the intersection of present-day Route 179 and Route 81. It went north along Route 179 to present-day Route 77. It then went north on Route 77 to end at Route 138 near the eastern end of the now demolished Stone Bridge.
