Rho Virginis is a white A-type main sequence dwarf with a mean apparent magnitude of +4.88. It is approximately 120 light years from Earth. It is classified as a Delta Scuti type variable star and its brightness varies by 0.02 magnitudes over periods of 0.5 to 2.4 hours.
