I added what I've always thought is a (vaguely) logical explanation for the title. I'm unaware if it has ever actually been confirmed. Feel free to remove it as speculation if you like. Everyking 07:44, 14 Mar 2005 (UTC)
I removed the quote because it was not a response to a question about the title "Rhinoceros" but "Mayonaise." Interesting theory, though.
