[edit] IU Marching Hundred
Thanks for fleshing out the stub artcle for the Indiana University Marching Hundred. Now if we can just find people for Iowa and Wisconsin and the other Big 10 stubs remaining... I see that a number of your images were removed (most likely for unclear copyright licenses). I'd recommend that you review them and see if you can't repost them with a clear copyright license. -- Upholder 15:34, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
- Just as a note, I didn't delete the images so I'm not entirely sure why they were removed. Based on the page edit history, I'm guessing that Geni deleted them.. and further guess that he did so because he didn't see a copyright license attached to them when they were uploaded. I suggest that you take a look at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and Wikipedia:Untagged images for how to properly attach the copyright clearance to the images. You could also ask Geni if he knows why they were deleted and why they were and how to fix the problem. -- Upholder 18:39, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
- what is the exact wording of the permission you have?Geni 18:53, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

I'm glad you got the images all sorted out. Might I recommend that you use a logo instead of the picture in the infobox and put that picture elsewhere in the article? It's a bit more standard to use a logo in the infobox. -- Upholder 05:27, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
- From a brief look at the code you used and other articles, I don't think it's a problem with the page, but a temporary problem with the servers that host the images. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't and it's not limited to the IU page. I'd check on it again tomorrow and see if it fixes itself. -- Upholder 15:56, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
- It looks like the problem with that image is related to the resizing done with the 'thumb' keyword. I've temporarilly changed it to use 'frame' which leaves it at the same size until 'thumb' works properly. In the process, I've also done some minor layout changes to the images to improve the overall visual layout of the article. -- Upholder 06:11, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Destructo Box
A tag has been placed on Destructo Box, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}}
to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. SatyrTN (talk | contribs) 07:41, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] AfD Nomination: Destructo Box
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but all Wikipedia articles must meet our criteria for inclusion (see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Since it does not seem to me that Destructo Box meets these criteria, I have started a discussion about whether this article should be kept or deleted.
Your opinion on whether this article meets the inclusion criteria is welcome. Please contribute to the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Destructo Box. Don't forget to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of each of your comments to sign them.
Discussions such as these usually last five days. In the meantime, you are free to edit the content of the article. Please do not remove the "articles for deletion" template (the box at the top). When the discussion has concluded, an administrator will consider all comments and decide whether or not to delete the article.
