RGT

The Registry of Guitar Tutors (RGT) was established in 1992 with the aims of improving the status and profile of guitar teachers, and helping to ensure their professional recognition within the mainstream of music education, by the establishment of an accredited range of comprehensive and well structured teaching programmes. All RGT grade exams are fully accredited by the QCA, certificated by Thames Valley University and organised in partnership with London College of Music Examinations. RGT publishes a worldwide Directory of guitar tutors, and organises regular music education conferences and training seminars. Some of the world's best known guitarists and bass players are members of the RGT's Panel of Honorary Patrons. This includes Sir Paul McCartney, David Gilmour, Ronnie Wood and Hank Marvin. RGT has branches throughout the world, with the head office being in the UK at Registry Mews, 11 to 13 Wilton Road, Bexhill-on-Sea, Sussex, TN40 1HY. Tel: 01424 22 22 22 http://www.RGT.org.uk
