- The correct title of this article is User:rgNet. The initial letter is shown capitalized due to technical restrictions.

- Originally the name was to be raven, taken from Edgar Allan Poe's 'The Raven,' the word dark was prefixed onto the name and so evolved the original nickname of 'darkraven.' From here the name evolved into ravens-gate.
- Upon watching the film Resident Evil: Apocalypse I took the name "Ravens-Gate" (A location shown early in the film) into mind when thinking of a url for my upcoming website. I took ravens-gate.net as my website and have been using it since.
- The name then evolved from there, becoming rgNet, (ravens-gate.net) and I have been using it ever since.
